John Westwick

John Westwick has extensive experience in the field of pharmaceuticals. John started their career in 1994 as a Lineberger Fellow at the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. John then moved on to become a Senior Scientist at Signal Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in 1996, and an Associate Director at Celgene in 2000. In 2002, they became President and CEO, President and CSO, CSO, and VP Drug Discovery at Odyssey Thera. In 2013, they became a Venture Advisor at Mercury Fund, and in 2015 they were the Founder, President and CEO of Resonant Therapeutics and Founder, CEO and Board Member at Courier Therapeutics.

John Westwick began their educational journey in 1981, when they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology from UC San Diego. John then continued their education at the same institution, earning a Ph.D. in Molecular Pathology in 1993. Following this, they completed a Post-doctoral Fellowship in Oncology and Cancer Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine in 1994.
