Olaya Guerrero has worked in various roles in the hospitality industry since 2010. Olaya began their career as a Lighting and Texture Artist Intern at Zoic Studios in 2010. In 2012, they held an Assistant Revenue Manager Internship at One Bal Harbor Resort & Spa and a Sales and Special Events Coordinator at Marriott International. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Guest Services Representative at Marriott Hotels and then as a Group Services Coordinator at JW Marriott Bonnet Creek Orlando in 2020. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Guest Experience Manager at ResortPass.

Olaya Guerrero has a long and varied educational history. Olaya began their studies in 1989, when they attended STV for their high school studies in Science. In 2006, they earned their BS in Media Arts and Animation from The Art Institutes. In 2010, they earned a Lighting Certificate from the Gnomon School of Visual Effects, Games + Animation in Lighting and Rendering and RenderMan. From 2011 to 2013, they earned their Master in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Florida International University. Finally, in 2014 to 2015, they earned a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from Nova Southeastern University. Additionally, they hold a certification in Entrepreneurship.
