Anwar Tamiz is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and grant management. Currently serving as the Director of Finance at RAFT since March 2022, Anwar previously held various finance roles at organizations such as STAND! For Families Free of Violence and AACS Consulting, where responsibilities included managing substantial grants, processing vendor invoices, and developing analytical tools for financial performance. Anwar has also contributed to projects at the University of Massachusetts, Blumont, Inc., and Afghan United Bank, demonstrating a consistent ability to enhance financial processes and ensure compliance. Anwar holds an MBA in Corporate Finance from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and various degrees and diplomas in economics and finance.
