Katherine Ball

Katherine Ball is an experienced professional in development and education, currently serving as the Director of Development at RAFT (Resource Area For Teaching) since May 2018, where the focus is on enhancing hands-on teaching in science, math, technology, and art. Previously, Katherine held roles at Oracle from August 2015 to May 2018, working as an Application Sales Representative in Human Capital Management and Customer Experience, contributing to improving customer service through cloud applications. Katherine's educational background includes a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature and a Bachelor of Arts in the same field from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where practical teaching experiences as a Graduate Teaching Associate, Tutor, and Graduate Student Assistant were also gained. Katherine has a strong commitment to gender equity and community outreach, demonstrated through various initiatives during time at Cal Poly, including coordinating productions and events focused on feminist and gender issues.
