Josh Lapointe

Josh LaPointe is an experienced professional in ecological restoration and management, currently serving as Regional Operations Manager at Resource Environmental Solutions LLC since February 2021. Prior to this role, Josh LaPointe spent over 18 years at Applied Ecological Services, where responsibilities included Director of Construction, National Branch Manager, and Restoration Project Manager, overseeing numerous ecological restoration initiatives in Wisconsin and Illinois. Specific projects involved wetland, prairie, woodland, stream bank, and savanna restoration. Josh LaPointe also worked as an Ecologist, conducting wetland delineations, natural resource inventories, and hydrology monitoring. Early career experience includes a Restoration Internship at the Aldo Leopold Foundation, focusing on invasive species control and prairie ecosystem restoration. Josh LaPointe holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, obtained in 2000.
