Djamel Hassaine

Djamel Hassaine has been working in the software engineering field since 2007. Djamel began their career as a Research Associate at Durham University, where they worked on the ADAPTER project and was involved in the creation of two 3D educational films. In 2009, they joined Searchbolt Ltd as a Programmer, where they conducted research and development of network analysis and visualization tools. Djamel then moved to Lisles Research in 2013, where they worked as a Senior Software Developer and automated trading and predicted the stock market using socionomics and big data. In 2016, they joined Scott Logic as a Senior Software Developer, where they worked with Node.js, JavaScript/ECMAScript 2015, Docker, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Microservices, Jenkins, Continuous integration, Test driven design, Angular 2.0, and Typescript. Finally, in 2017, they moved to Resource Guru as a Senior Software Engineer.

Djamel Hassaine began their educational journey in 1995 at Dubai College. Djamel then attended Durham University from 2001 to 2004, earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Djamel continued their studies at Durham University from 2004 to 2009, earning a PhD in Computer Science.
