Lauren Casentini

As an energy executive, consultant and entrepreneur, Lauren Casentini, CEO and founder of Resource Innovations, has been a national leader in energy efficiency program design and management, industry policy and stakeholder engagement for more than 30 years. She has dedicated her career to creating solutions that deliver sustainable energy savings and impact climate change. Lauren spent more than a decade at Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), where she spearheaded some of the nation's first and most successful energy efficiency and market transformation programs, including PG&E’s first program dedicated to serving the low-income market. Her expansive experience also includes serving as a lead executive in operations and policy for the largest energy efficiency consulting company in the US.

She founded Resource Innovations in January 2016 and leads its strategy, vision and growth. She provides strategic guidance across all program areas and remains active in influencing federal and state energy policy by serving as a speaker and panelist for energy forums and events nationwide. Throughout her entrepreneurial career, she has secured placement on the Inc. 5000 list twice, a list that represents the most prestigious ranking of the United States’ fastest-growing private companies. In 2020, Resource Innovations was recognized as No. 15 and Resource Solutions Group ranked at 402 in 2011. Lauren is a co-founder and long-time board member of the California Efficiency and Demand Management Council.
