Michael Degus has a comprehensive work experience spanning over three decades. Michael held various positions in different companies, showcasing their expertise in sales, marketing, and business development.
Degus began their career at ExxonMobil in 1990, where they held multiple roles such as National Account Manager, Sales Representative, Manufacturing Supervisor, and Purchasing Agent. During their tenure, they achieved significant sales growth and implemented successful strategies to control sales and improve productivity.
In 2000, Degus joined Resource Label Group LLC as a Product Manager for PP & HDPE Films. Michael managed a $150 million product portfolio, developed sales and marketing strategies, and led a product development team that delivered incremental sales.
Degus continued to climb the corporate ladder at Resource Label Group LLC, becoming the SVP of Sales and Marketing in 2014. In this position, they led a large sales organization and was responsible for the North and South American markets. Michael achieved noteworthy accomplishments, including delivering the largest year-over-year growth in the business in the past ten years.
In 2020, Degus assumed the role of SVP of Marketing and Business Development at Resource Label Group LLC. This position further showcased their strategic thinking and leadership skills. Overall, Degus has a proven track record of driving business growth, implementing successful marketing strategies, and leading cross-functional teams.
Michael Degus attended SUNY Geneseo from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Marketing. Later on, they pursued further education at the Thunderbird School of Global Management. In 2007, they completed the ExxonMobil General Leadership Program, and in 2011, they completed the ExxonMobil Advanced Leadership Program.
