Mike Apperson

Mike Apperson has had a diverse range of work experience throughout their career. Mike started as the Various roles at DuPont from 1987 to 1993. Mike then worked for Allied Signal as the Vice President and General Manager Plastics, leading a team of over 700 people. After that, they joined Lowes Home Safety Council as a Member of the Board of Directors. Mike later became the President and CEO of Kidde Residential & Commercial, where they successfully turned around and grew the business. Mike also served as a Board Member and Chairman at the Clemson University ChE Advisory Board, a Board Member at AGY, and a Board Member and Chairman at American Fiber Manufacturers Association. Following that, they became the President and CEO of American Fibers & Yarns, where they stabilized financial systems, consolidated facilities, lowered breakeven, and drove earnings to over 3 times previous levels. Mike then moved on to become the CEO of Loparex, leading the world's leading producer of release liners. Currently, they hold the position of President and CEO at Resource Label Group LLC, a full-service label company with locations across the US and Canada.

Mike Apperson attended Clemson University where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. Mike also attended Harvard Business School where they obtained a Master's degree in Business. Prior to their university studies, Mike attended Greenwood High School.
