Carrie Brown

Dr. Carrie Brown is the Director at Resource Refocus LLC, specializing in decarbonization and resiliency through policy research, program design, and technical consulting. They have extensive experience in building science, mechanical engineering, and data analysis, having held various roles including Research Assistant at MIT and Associate Technical Director at TRC Companies. Their ongoing contributions include co-chairing the New York State Climate Impacts Assessment Buildings Technical Working Group and leading projects for clients such as NYSERDA. Dr. Brown holds a Ph.D. in Building Technology from MIT and has been actively involved in professional communities, serving as an ASHRAE Society Director-At-Large and former President of IBPSA-USA.
