Lissette Rivera

Lissette Rivera is currently the Director at Resourceful Nonprofit. Prior to this, they were the Regional Government Relations Director at Westfield Insurance from July 2017 to December 2019. While at Westfield, they were responsible for establishing and maintaining interactive contact with executive, legislative, administrative, and regulatory branches of state and local governments on insurance and banking issues. Lissette also formulated and implemented strategic plans, served as Federal PAC treasurer for a two-year term, created and executed opportunities for educating government officials on insurance and banking issues, and collaborated with national and local trade associations, organizations and partners with respect to public policy and legislative issues. The reason for their leaving Westfield was due to a workforce reduction.

Lissette Rivera has a Master of Public Affairs and Politics from Rutgers University, a BA in Photojournalism from Columbia College Chicago, and a certification from the Project Management Institute in Project Management Professional.
