Vishal Kashyap

Vishal Kashyap is a seasoned software engineer with over two decades of experience in the gaming industry. Currently serving as the Lead Software Engineer at Respawn Entertainment since September 2021, Vishal has held significant roles at notable companies including Industrial Toys and Electronic Arts as Lead Game Engineer. Prior to these positions, Vishal was involved with Zwift and Infinity Ward as a Lead Game Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, respectively. Vishal's career began at Discreet and Softimage as a Software Engineer, progressing through various roles at Midway Home Entertainment, Luxoflux, and SuperBot Entertainment, showcasing a strong background in software engineering and game development. Vishal earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
