Michael Fongmanivong

Michael Fongmanivong is an experienced product engineer currently working at ZOLL Respicardia since July 2022. Previously, from June 2017 to July 2021, Michael served as an R&D engineer at Conventus-Flower Orthopedics, where responsibilities included the ideation and improvement of orthopedic devices, participation in cadaver labs for prototype testing, and the design of a custom jig for distal radius surgery in collaboration with Dr. Paul Paterson. Michael also contributed to the modeling and documentation of the Conventus Proximal Humerus CAGE surgical implant and was involved in biomechanical testing for regulatory clearances. Earlier experience as an assembler at SICO America from June 2014 to August 2016 involved assembling mobile folding tables and proposing production enhancements. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, completed in 2018, and studied at ZHAW School of Engineering in 2017.
