Chamindra Goonewardene

Chamindra Goonewardene is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Resplendent Ceylon since October 2019, Chamindra develops and executes marketing strategies for three properties affiliated with Relais and Chateaux. Prior roles include Director of Marketing and Operations at Santani Resort and Spa, CEO of Luyou Lanka, and Head of Operations - Digital at Grant Group of Companies. Chamindra's expertise also encompasses consultancy for the International Finance Corporation and project management for Sri Lanka Tourism. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Duke University and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Leicester, complemented by executive programs at INSEAD and Cornell University.
