Dobah Carré, Ph.D in Law, CIPP/E, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of law and technology. Starting in 2018, Dobah worked as an independent legal practitioner, specializing in privacy, corporate and IP law, providing business advice and legal strategy for startups in the tech industry. In 2018, Dobah also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Aifred Health Inc. and the University of Montreal.
In 2019, Dobah joined Prudence AI Inc. as the CEO and Senior Lawyer, focusing on AI data protection, data ethics, IP, and business law. Simultaneously, Dobah became a member of the Board of Advisors and Head of AI Legal and Ethics in Healthcare at AI-Global.org.

Dobah Carré, Ph.D in Law, CIPP/E, has a diverse education history spanning over two decades. In 1999, they earned a DEUG degree in Droit from Université Côte d'Azur. This was followed by a Licentiate degree in law in 2001 and a Master's degree in Private law in 2002, both from Université Côte d'Azur. In 2004, Dobah Carré obtained an LL.B degree in Law from Université de Montréal.
Continuing their education, they pursued an LL.M. degree in Business and International Insolvency Law at Université de Montréal from 2003 to 2007. In 2008, Dobah Carré attended the York University - Osgoode Hall Law School as an ATLAS AGORA Student. They also spent a year from 2010 to 2011 as a Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, focusing on Law & Technology.
In 2007, they obtained a Ph.D. degree from Université de Montréal, specializing in Loi applicable aux transferts de biens virtuels. Dobah Carré went on to pursue a Doctorat en droit comparé from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, focusing on Droit international privé, technologie, affaire, droit comparable, from 2009 to 2016.
Further expanding their expertise, Dobah Carré completed a Postdoctorate in AI ethics and Data Law in Health at Université de Montréal from 2018 to 2019. They also obtained additional certifications such as being a Certified Information Privacy Professional - Europe (CIPP/E) from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in January 2023. Moreover, they became a member of the Quebec Bar, certified by Barreau du Québec, in December 2006.
