Patricia Fletcher is an experienced executive with a robust background in leadership and educational programming. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at the Responsible Investment Association since February 2022, Patricia previously held multiple senior roles at the Institute of Corporate Directors, including Vice President Education and Director of Programming, Learning and Innovation. As the owner of Fletcher-Houghton Consulting, Patricia provided strategic consulting services from September 2012 to July 2015. Prior to that, significant leadership experience was gained as Managing Director at both The Canadian Institute and IIR Australia, as well as in key positions at Hay Group and the Institute for International Research - Canada. Patricia holds a BA in Political Science from Western University.

The Responsible Investment Association (RIA) is Canada's leader on responsible investment (RI). RI refers to the integration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria into investment selection and management. We are a national, membership-based organization composed of financial institutions, mutual fund companies, investment firms, financial advisors, and various organizations and individuals who practice and support responsible investing. The RIA and its members strongly believe that RI is a valuable investment tool to enhance returns, reduce risk, and catalyze positive social change.
