Rita Pinto de Abreu

Rita Pinto de Abreu has over 17 years of experience in the irrigation industry. Rita began their career in 2004 as Portugal District Manager and Specification, Marketing & Training at Rain Bird Ibérica S.A. In 2013, they moved to K-Rain Manufacturing Corp as European Manager. In 2014, they were promoted to European & Middle East Manager at K-Rain Manufacturing Corporation, where they were responsible for the sales and marketing strategy development and implementation in the European and Middle East markets. In 2018, they moved to Rain Bird Ibérica S.A. as Iberia Landscape Sales Manager, responsible for the Turf SBU sales and marketing strategy development and implementation in the Spanish and Portuguese markets. Currently, they are V.P. of International Client Relations and Europe Sales Manager & New Business Development at Responsive Drip Irrigation, responsible for launching RDI GrowStream™, the world’s first water delivery system that uses organic chemistry to allow each and every plant to self-regulate its own water and nutrient delivery.

Rita Pinto de Abreu attended Escola Secundária Dr. Ginestal Machado and then went on to pursue a degree in Engenharia Florestal at Escola Superior Agrária de Castelo Branco from 1996 to 2001.
