UI/UX Designer | Project Manager at Resson

Paul Legere has over 18 years of experience in various roles within the digital art and design industry. Paul started their career as a Digital Artist in 2003. In 2004, they worked as a Background Artist at Collideascope Digital Productions until 2007. From 2009 to 2012, they held the position of Senior Background Painter/Layout Artist at Copernicus Studios. In 2012, they joined Kiwi, Inc. as a Background Artist/Designer until 2014. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at DHX Media as a Production Designer. In 2018, they joined Copernicus Studios again, this time as a Location Designer until 2019. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Background Artist/Location Designer at Brown Bag Films. In 2021, they briefly worked as a UI/UX Designer at Electric Playground, followed by a role as a UI/UX Designer at Binogi.ca from April to August 2022. Currently, Paul is working at Resson as a UI/UX Designer and Project Manager, where they are responsible for overseeing a website design project. Paul conducts research, gathers project requirements, coordinates meetings, designs user flows and mockups, creates graphic assets, handles client requests, and assists with implementation of the designs.

Paul Legere completed their education at Nova Scotia Community College - NSCC. From 2020 to 2022, they obtained a Diploma with Honours in IT Web Programming. Prior to that, they received a Diploma in Digital Animation from 2001 to 2003 and a Certificate in Applied Communication Arts from 2000 to 2001, both from Nova Scotia Community College - NSCC.

In addition to their educational background, Paul has obtained several certifications. Paul completed a course on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) from The Interaction Design Foundation in February 2022. In October 2021, they completed courses on HTTP Essential Training, Learning REST APIs, and JavaScript: Enhancing the DOM from LinkedIn. In March 2021, they completed a course on Sass Essential Training from LinkedIn. Lastly, their list of certifications also includes "UI Design Patterns for Successful Software" from The Interaction Design Foundation, although the exact month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
