Gabriel Castro

Gabriel Castro is an experienced professional in claims management and partnership governance, currently serving as the Lead of Partnership Governance at Rest since November 2021. In this role, Gabriel oversees the governance of insurance partners, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. Prior to Rest, Gabriel held the position of Senior Claims Specialist, focusing on enhancing the claims experience for members. Gabriel's career includes significant experience at MetLife Australia as a Senior Claims Assessor, and at TAL Australia in various capacities, including Senior Case Manager and Case Manager. Gabriel began a career in claims management at EML as a Case Manager. Academically, Gabriel holds a Bachelor's degree in sport and exercise science from Western Sydney University, earned between 2012 and 2015.
