Collin Standish

Collin Standish is a dedicated individual pursuing dual Bachelor's degrees in Biology and Psychology at the Illinois Institute of Technology, expected to graduate in 2024. Experience includes roles as a Hospice Volunteer at Providence Life Services, where comfort and care are provided to hospice patients, and as a volunteer in the Emergency Department at Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital, performing various support tasks. Standish has worked as an Emergency Medical Responder at Elite Ambulance-IL, focusing on patient advocacy, and served as a Literacy Coordinator for the Camras Scholars Program, enriching students' literary experiences. Additional volunteer roles include assisting in wound care, coordinating virtual shadowing sessions for Hearts for Health, and helping students at the Disability Center and as a Campus Life Ambassador. Earlier experience includes lifeguarding and conducting research related to Parkinson's disease.
