Polina Shabarova

Polina Shabarova has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Polina started their career in 2007 as an English Language Teacher at Logos. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Senior Teacher at FLASH English School. In 2012, they founded an English language school and kids learning center, where they served as the Founder and Marketing Manager until 2019. From 2018 to 2019, they also worked as a Digital Marketing Specialist at The Sparkling Mind. In 2020, Polina founded TalkTime language school and served as the Founder and CEO until 2022. In the same year, they joined Liberty Ukraine Foundation as a volunteer. Polina also co-founded AHEAD Ukraine in 2022, where they currently hold the position of Communications and PR Manager, in addition to being a Co-Founder. Polina's most recent role is as a Marketing Manager at Re:start Emergency Savings benefit, which they started in 2022.

Polina Shabarova obtained a Master's degree (MA) in Linguistics from Lomonosov Moscow State University Branch in Sevastopol. In December 2022, they also completed a certification course in Storytelling for Social Change from the University of Michigan.
