Michael Moore has held various positions in the food service industry, beginning in 2007 as a Line Cook at Roy's Hawaiian Fusion. In 2008, they moved to Bruce's Gourmet Catering as a Sous Chef, where they were responsible for two specialty meals, daily, for approximately 150+ people cast and crew of Hollywood television shows. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at Sodexo, first as an FNS Operations Manager and then as an Executive Chef. In this role, they were responsible for three specialized meals and snacks, daily, for 140+ patients with eating disorders, as well as providing daily onsite catering to doctors, executives, and visiting professionals. Michael also facilitated company-wide improved training programs for food and nutrition departments to ensure continuity of care, and expanded existing client contract to facilities in four additional states through customized consulting agreements. Most recently, in 2015, Michael Moore began working as the Vice President of Business Development for Restaurantware, LLC.
Michael Moore obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English/Political Science from the University of Michigan between 2003 and 2007. Afterward, they attended Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts- Pasadena and obtained a Culinary Arts/Chef Training degree in 2008. In 2013, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University. In 2014, they obtained a ServSafe certification from ServSafe Certified.
