Nalini Paul

Nepal Hub Lead at Restless Development

Nalini Paul is the Uganda Hub Director at RESTLESS DEVELOPMENT. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Programme Manager for Disability at VSO from February 2010 to May 2014. In this role, Nalini was responsible for handling a portfolio of GBP 16 Million and shaping the program area objectives in line with VSO objectives. Nalini also oversaw partner, state & national level program plans (including advocacy at local, district and national levels), planned programming activities & volunteer delivery targets, and designed & managed an evidence-based M&E system for the program &trained the partners on its usage.

From May 2014 to present, Nalini has been working as the Uganda Hub Director at RESTLESS DEVELOPMENT. In this role, they are responsible for leading a team of over 50 staff in implementing a portfolio of projects totaling over $8 million. Nalini provides strategic direction for the organization and oversees all aspects of operations, including financial management, human resources, and program implementation.

Nalini Paul studied journalism and mass communications at the Centre for Mass Media, where they specialized in feature writing, magazine editing and production, and report writing. Nalini also has a Bachelor of Arts in political science and government, economics, and English literature from Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University.

Nalini Paul works with Candie Cassabalian - Regional Operations Director, Nikita Khanna - Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Manager, and Jean Manney - US Hub Director. Nalini Paul reports to Kate Muhwezi, Co-CEO.
