Katt Hancher Ma, Sphr

Katt Hancher, MA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has extensive experience in human resources and administrative roles. Starting in 1998 at Marymount University, they worked their way up from HR Assistant to Director of Human Resource Services. In this role, they were responsible for employee recruitment, training and development, supervision of various HR units, statistical reporting, and employee relations. Katt also researched and implemented background-check policies and procedures.

In 2007, Katt transitioned to Datatel (now Ellucian) where they served as a Human Resources Consultant, providing training and consulting services on HRIS software products and best practices in higher education. Katt later moved to a Senior HR Generalist position, participating in the company's transition to Ellucian.

In 2011, Katt joined RCG, Inc. as the Director of Human Resources and AFSO. Katt'sresponsibilities included HR administration and legal compliance, benefits and HRIS management, compliance reporting, employee relations, and supervisory training. Katt also provided administrative support for ISO Quality Management Systems and served as the AFSO, holding a current active TS clearance.

Katt Hancher holds a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources from Marymount University, which they obtained from 1999 to 2003. Katt also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Hood College. In terms of additional certifications, Katt has obtained the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in January 2015. Katt also holds certifications in SCUBA, Open Water from PADI, as well as the SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications from HRCI and SHRM respectively.
