Liza C. Martinez, MPH, currently serves as a Job Placement Specialist at Restore NYC since September 2020 and has been a Program Administrative Assistant at the Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. since July 2019. Previously, Liza held positions as a Lead Teacher for Spanish GED at Brooklyn Public Library and as Community Manager at Hudson Kitchen, where a successful social media campaign was implemented for food entrepreneurs. Liza has extensive teaching experience, including work as a Spanish TASC Volunteer Teacher at Columbia University, and has contributed to global public health through roles such as Global Human Rights Fellow at NYU and Program Assistant at the NYU College of Global Public Health. Liza's early career involved research assistance at Mount Sinai Health System and providing primary care at Salud Total. Liza holds a Master’s Degree in Global Health from NYU and a Doctor of Medicine from Universidad El Bosque.
