Carolyn Lozano has worked in the tech industry since 1994. Carolyn began their career as President of Burt's Music in Print, where they were responsible for the day-to-day activities of the retail sheet music business. Carolyn implemented a LAN, point-of-sale/inventory control system, and accounting/invoicing system, and designed and built a commercial website with e-commerce.
In 2000, they joined Results Direct as a Product Developer and Web Application Programmer.
In 2007, they joined Un Techo para mi País - Peru as a Consultant. During this role, they helped to design and build a web application for internal administrative use, for the management of building projects, volunteers, and donors. Carolyn also trained local volunteers on PHP, MySQL, HTML, and Javascript.
Carolyn Lozano received their BA in Aesthetic Synthesis from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1994. Carolyn had previously attended California State University, Fullerton from 1987 to 1989.
