Carissa Ciuca

Carissa Ciuca has a long and varied work experience. Carissa began their career in 2002 as the Director of Annual Giving & The 1770 Society at the College of Charleston. During their time there, they managed direct mail, mass emails, newsletters, telemarketing, and one-on-one meetings with donors. In 2007, they moved on to The George Washington University as the Director of the GW Annual Fund, where they managed direct mail, telemarketing, events, and online giving for the University and all schools and programs. Carissa raised over $5 million annually. In 2010, they became the Owner/Director of Breathing Room Yoga Studio, where they founded and managed a thriving small business/yoga community, grew the business from zero clients to over 3,000 clients, and spoke at multiple yoga conferences. That same year, they also took on the role of Director of Development at Greater Portland Landmarks. In 2013, they became a Development Consultant (Contract) at Blue Star Families, where they managed all grant research, writing, and reporting. Finally, in 2016, they joined Results Repeat Digital Marketing as the Senior Director, Strategy & Growth, where they work with businesses of all sizes to craft marketing strategies that will drive increased revenue via online channels.

Carissa Ciuca completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Corporate Communication - Marketing and Business from the College of Charleston in 2002. In 2003, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Masters of Organizational Communication from the same college.
