Ryan Gao

Ryan Gao is an engineer, researcher and business analyst with experience in fundamentals-based modeling of wholesale electricity market and energy market applications development. Before joining REsurety, he was a senior consultant at Energy Exemplar, supporting a wide variety of clients on production cost modeling and energy market analysis. Prior to that, he was a business analyst and an engineer at New York ISO, supporting the design and operation of energy and FTR markets. At REsurety, Ryan is advancing the company’s price analytics for renewable energy with a focus on SPP and Midwest ISO.

Ryan holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as well as a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Electric Power Engineering from Wuhan University, China.
