Wayne Williams

Wayne joined Resurgens in 2020 as an Operating Partner and brings more than 30 years of experience founding and leading technology companies, as well as spearheading and implementing effective technology strategies.

Currently, he serves as Executive Chairman at both Axosoft and Lansweeper. He is the former CEO of Embarcadero Technologies Inc., which was a Thoma Bravo portfolio company during his tenure in that position and subsequently was sold to Idera Inc., an application and server maintenance software provider. In 1994, he licensed core technology to Embarcadero that helped establish the company and joined the executive team as CTO prior to its successful IPO in 2000. In conjunction with Embarcadero and more broadly, Wayne also served as a Thoma Bravo Operating partner from 2015-2020. Prior to Embarcadero, he was the CEO of Engineering Performance, Inc. Before that, he founded a number of successful software companies.
