Maali-Amel Mersel

Maali-Amel Mersel serves as the R&D Team Lead at Resysten International Ltd since November 2024 and co-leads the Chemistry community at Algerian Women In Science since June 2022, where responsibilities include managing events and coordinating volunteers. Previously, Maali-Amel took a career break from July 2023 to September 2024 to pursue personal goals, and worked as a Research Supervisor and Assistant Lecturer at Pannon Egyetem - University of Pannonia from 2018 to 2023, alongside fulfilling the role of Doctoral Researcher, focusing on laboratory management. An undergraduate research stint occurred at Ecole nationale supérieure de Chimie de Rennes in mid-2018. Maali-Amel holds a PhD in Inorganic Photochemistry from Pannon Egyetem - University of Pannonia and a Master's degree in Environmental Chemistry from Université Ferhat Abbas, Sétif.
