Mike Brown

Michael Brown is a highly experienced actuary currently serving as Chief Actuary at The Reta Trust since September 2024. Prior to this role, Michael held significant positions including Vice President & Principal at Lewis & Ellis from December 2014 to September 2024, and Managing Director, Health Actuary at Miller & Newberg Consulting Actuaries from May 2012 to November 2014. Additional experience includes managing actuarial services at Coventry Health Care, an Aetna Company, and progression from Actuarial Associate to Manager at Miller & Newberg, Inc. Michael began a career in education as a Mathematics Instructor at Longview Community College. Michael earned a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Kent State University.
