Erik Viafore

Erik Viafore is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in driving digital transformation and e-commerce initiatives across multiple sectors. Currently a Council Member at Retail AI Council, Erik previously served as Global Vice President of Information Technology at Stanley 1913, where significant achievements included managing a $35M OpEx Budget, leading a global IT team, and architecting an e-commerce platform that facilitated over 400% growth within four years. Prior roles encompass founding and leading Mountains Plus Outdoor Gear, where annual revenues grew from an initial investment to over $6M, and serving as CIO at MedData, where significant improvements to IT organization were achieved. Erik holds an MBA with dual concentrations in Finance and Marketing from UW Foster School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and General Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.
