Johann Eicher

Johann Eicher is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development and data engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at TymeBank since September 2023, Johann previously worked at Tweag as a Software and Data Engineer from August 2022 to July 2023. Prior roles include Backend Team Lead and Software Engineer at Hyrax Biosciences (January 2017 - August 2022) and Postdoctoral Researcher and Software Engineer at Stellenbosch University (August 2013 - December 2016), where responsibilities included the development of a dynamic model repository, simulator, and supervision of graduate students. Johann's educational background includes a Master's degree in Structural Biology and a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Cape Town and Stellenbosch University, as well as a Bachelor's degree and Honors degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Cape Town.
