Austen Jensen

Austen Jensen has extensive work experience in both the public and private sectors. Austen is currently serving as the Executive Vice President at the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA), a role they have held since May 2022. Prior to that, they held the positions of Senior Vice President from January 2019 to June 2022, and Vice President from January 2016 to December 2018, also at RILA.

Before joining RILA, Austen Jensen worked in various roles within the U.S. House of Representatives. Austen served as Chief of Staff for Congressman McHenry from August 2014 to August 2015. Prior to that, they held the position of Deputy Chief of Staff/Legislative Director for Congressman Pittenger from January 2013 to July 2014, and for Congressman Guinta from January 2011 to December 2012.

Austen's earlier roles in the House of Representatives include serving as Senior Legislative Assistant for Congressman McHenry from May 2010 to December 2010, Legislative Assistant from April 2008 to May 2010, Legislative Correspondent from October 2007 to April 2008, and Staff Assistant from February 2006 to October 2007. Austen began their career in the U.S. House of Representatives as a Congressional Intern from May 2005 to January 2006.

Austen Jensen pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Arizona State University, completing it between 2001 and 2005. Additionally, Austen attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government from the same institution, although the specific time frame is not provided.
