Blake Harden

Vice President, International Trade at Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA)

Blake Harden has a diverse work experience in various roles related to international trade. Blake currently serves as the Vice President of International Trade at the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) since 2020. Previously, they worked as a Trade Counsel at the U.S. House of Representatives, Committee on Ways and Means, Subcommitee on Trade from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they were a Senior Attorney at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Chief Counsel from 2006 to 2016. Blake also has experience as a Law Clerk at Vandeveer Garzia in 2005 and a Research Assistant at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law from 2004 to 2005. Blake started their career as a Trade Analyst at Vastera Inc in 2002.

Blake Harden completed a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they attended Michigan State University from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Relations and Spanish.
