Talana Lattimer has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Talana most recently worked at the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) as the Vice President of Creative Services. Prior to that, they held positions at Americans For Safe Access as the Director of Operations, Communications Director, and Social Media Director. Talana has also worked as a Digital Media Specialist at the Association for Career and Technical Education and as a Freelance Production Assistant for various production companies. Talana has experience in the broadcasting industry, having worked as a Broadcast Services Associate at WHUT-TV Public Broadcast Services (PBS) Affiliate and as a Newsroom Editor/Reporter at WUSA-TV. Talana also has experience in political campaigns, having served as a Press Assistant for the Terry McAuliffe for Governor Campaign. Talana began their career in journalism at CNN as an Assignment Desk member.
Talana Lattimer attended Howard University from 2009 to 2012, where they studied Radio Television & Film. Prior to that, they attended American University from 2008 to 2009, where they obtained a Certificate in WeLEAD, focused on politics. Talana also studied at the University of Miami from 2005 to 2008, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism & History. Additionally, Talana obtained certifications as a Field Producer and Final Cut Pro Editor from Access Montgomery Television in October 2010.
