Joe Strauss, CCIM, is a seasoned commercial real estate broker currently with Retail Specialists, LLC since March 2019, and serves as Vice President of Retail Development at Retail Strategies since March 2014. At Retail Strategies, a leading national advisory firm, Joe supports community leaders and economic development authorities in achieving retail growth through market analysis and strategic planning. Prior experience includes roles as a commercial real estate consultant at Bellator Real Estate & Development and as a realtor at The Advantage Realty Group, where Joe specialized in the condominium market in Tuscaloosa. Joe began the career as a leasing manager at Cornerstone Management, focusing on leasing new condominium projects. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate from The University of Alabama.
