Gwyn Davies

Gwyn Davies has a diverse work experience history. Gwyn started their career as a Student Ambassador at King's College London, where they provided guided tours to prospective students and marketed the university. Gwyn later worked as an Assistant Ski Instructor at Ski Le Gap for a few months. Gwyn then took on the role of a Post Graduate Staff-Student Liaison Officer at the University of Warwick, where they represented the student body and introduced improvements to pastoral care. Gwyn also worked part-time as a Sales Assistant at F.Hinds, exceeding sales targets and maintaining a high percentage of associated product sales. Gwyn joined Inside Intelligence in 2013 as a Conference Producer in the Pharmaceuticals division, conducting market research, managing event content, and maintaining relationships with industry professionals. Gwyn then moved to GovNet, where they served as a Programme Manager in the Expo Division and later as a Senior Programme Manager. Currently, Gwyn is employed at emap as the Head of Events for the Construction & Engineering sector, overseeing event planning and content.

Gwyn Davies completed their GCSE and A Level education at Coopers' Company and Coborn School & 6th Form from 2000 to 2007. They then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Pharmacology and Molecular Genetics at King's College London from 2007 to 2010. Simultaneously, they also obtained an AKC Associate of King's College degree in Theology/Theological Studies during the same period. Later, in 2011, they attended the University of Warwick and completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biotechnology, Bioprocessing & Business Management in 2012.
