Ricky van Huyssteen

Ricky van Huyssteen is an experienced professional in e-commerce and digital marketing, currently serving as the E-Commerce Team Leader at Retailability (Pty) Ltd since March 2021. Ricky is responsible for launching and managing multiple websites on the Shopify platform, overseeing a team dedicated to website operations. Previously, as an E-Commerce Content Administrator, Ricky managed pricing, promotions, and product performance analytics for Edgars Online. Ricky began the career in retail as a Trainee Footwear Buyer before gaining additional experience as a Digital Marketing Intern at Digitas Liquorice and a Digital Marketing and SEO Intern at Conversation LAB. In addition to retail expertise, Ricky holds leadership responsibilities as the Branch Chair for several wards in the Democratic Alliance, coordinating activities and representing voter interests. Ricky's educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce in Digital Marketing and an Honours degree in Strategic Brand Management from Vega School.
