Erik Swanson

Erik Swanson is an experienced Senior Software Engineer at RetailNext since December 2016. Prior to this role, Erik worked at Cisco Systems, formerly ClearAccess, from February 2012 to December 2016, contributing to the Cisco Connected Analytics for Home project, which involved implementing solutions in Scala using Akka Streams, Spark, and Play. Erik began professional experience as a Photo Editor for The Commuter at Linn-Benton Community College, managing photographs for newsprint and assisting in layout processes from September 2004 to June 2006. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Portland State University and a Certificate in Digital Imaging and Prepress Technology from Linn-Benton Community College.
