Rafael Pavão

Rafael Pavão began their work experience as Coordenador do Pelouro Comunicação e Imagem at NEDF from June 2012 to May 2013. Rafael then moved to Instituto de Física Corpuscular (IFIC) and worked as a Predoc contract Santiago Grisolia from October 2016 to September 2019. Simultaneously, they pursued their PhD at the University of Valencia from November 2016 to October 2020. In 2019, they joined ONEASIT Solutions as a SAP/ABAP Programmer until September 2021. From September 2021 to November 2022, they worked at SONAE ARAUCO as an IT App Developer & Integrator. Currently, they are serving as a Data Scientist at ReTech Labs, Inc. starting from November 2022.

Rafael Pavão has an extensive education history in the field of physics. Rafael obtained their Bachelor's degree in Physics from Universidade de Coimbra in 2013. After that, they pursued a Master's degree in Physics from the same university, completing it in 2016. Later, they enrolled in the University of Valencia and successfully earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Hadronic and Nuclear Theory in 2020.

In addition to their academic degrees, Rafael also obtained various certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills in data science and programming. Rafael completed courses such as "Machine Learning with Python" and "Open Source Tools for Data Science" from Coursera in 2019. Rafael also completed a course titled "What is Data Science?" from the same platform in 2019. Furthermore, Rafael obtained a certification in Python from TestDome in 2019, demonstrating their proficiency in the programming language.
