Jonathan Munro is an experienced leader in mental health and criminal justice services, currently serving as Director of Place Based Delivery and Head of Prisons & Criminal Justice Services at Rethink Mental Illness since April 2015. Responsibilities include oversight of prisons and criminal justice services, ensuring compliance with performance and governance standards, and fostering a culture aligned with the organization's core values. Previously, Jonathan held the role of Associate Director for Criminal Justice & Secure Care Services and Operations Manager, focusing on innovative mental health service delivery across various settings in the North East of England. Earlier experience includes partnership management at Addaction and multiple roles within HM Prison Service centered on offender rehabilitation. Jonathan's educational background includes an Advanced Diploma in Drug & Alcohol Studies and a BSc in Environmental Management and Technology, complemented by training at the School of System Change.
