Daniel Otto

Daniel Otto is the current Managing Director at Rethink Robotics. Prior to this, they were with Rethink Robotics GmbH from November 2020 to January 2022, where they held the title of Managing Director and was responsible for sales, marketing, product management, customer care, office management, service and support, purchasing, finance, legal, and IT. From May 2020 to October 2020, they were Vice President/Head of Global Sales for Smart Factory Automation at ISRA VISION. And from November 2017 to April 2020, they were Head of Global Sales at IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH, where they were responsible for leading the company's global direct and distribution sales with 69 sales employees and 17 application engineers in America, Europe, Korea, and Japan. Daniel also introduced a 3-dimensional sales structure worldwide, including funnel management and business planning in the AMER, EMEA, and APAC regions.

Daniel Otto studied for a Diplom Ingenieur (FH) Elektrotechnik degree at the Fachhochschule Hildesheim/Holzminden/Göttingen, with a focus on Messtechnik. Daniel also has a Fachhochschulreife Technik qualification from the Berufsbildenden Schulen in Duderstadt, which they obtained by studying at the Fachoberschule Technik.

They work with Hannes Gruschinski - Head of Solution & Product Management, Sebastian Maas - Head of Product & Quality Management, and René Herbst - Head of Application Engineering. Daniel Otto reports to Daniel Bunse, CEO.
