Dalibor Cimr is an accomplished professional in the field of applied informatics, currently serving as the Chief Scientific Officer at SusDAT s.r.o. since March 2023, and a Scientific Researcher at Univerzita Hradec Králové's Dean's Office of the Faculty of Science since October 2017. Additionally, Dalibor holds the position of Software Developer at RETIA, akciová společnost, since October 2016. Previous experience includes a role as a Doctoral Researcher at Iwate Prefectural University from September to December 2018, where Dalibor contributed as a junior researcher in Professor Hamido Fujita's laboratory. Dalibor earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in applied informatics from University of Hradec Králové, completing studies in June 2023, following two earlier degrees in the same field, including a Master's degree (Inženýr) and a Bachelor's degree (Bakalář). Education began at SOŠ a SOU informatiky a spojů, Kolín, leading to a focus on information technology.

RETIA is a technology company which develops, manufactures and modernizes radars, missile systems, C4I systems, recording systems, UWB localization and communication systems. These products have been delivered and are delivered to the Czech Armed Forces, NATO, armed forces of NATO members and other military and civilian customers in the Czech Republic and in more than 40 countries worlwide. RETIA was founded in 1993 as a limited company. Since then RETIA has been growing continuously not only in size, but particularly by the number and importance of its contracts. RETIA was transformed into a stock company in 1996. RETIA has procured and reconstructed the new development and production facilities which are currently used. In order to execute challenging and complex contracts RETIA has undergone many technical and organizational changes.
