Reticle - The Proof Layer for AI Agents

Your AI coding agent just said "feature complete." You open the app: mock data everywhere, a flow that used to work is now broken, half the feature was never built. Reticle exists to close that gap.

What it does:
Reticle instruments your running app from the inside - network calls, application state, console output, the React render stream and hands your agent a pass/fail verdict with the exact file and line to fix. Not a screenshot. Not a guess. Proof.

How it works
A dev-only SDK + MCP server. One tool call checks everything at once: did the right API fire, did the store update, did anything error and returns evidence, not vibes. Record a flow once; it replays deterministically forever, no model, zero flake.

Why it matters
→ Catches bugs that are structurally invisible to screenshots: silent 500s, state desync, double-submits, invisible re-render loops
→ Runs inside the agent's loop, on every edit where Playwright gates releases, Reticle gates edits
→ Verifies a fleet of agents in parallel, on one browser
→ 50/52 injected bugs caught in benchmark testing vs. 38 for the best screenshot-based tool — at a fraction of the token cost

Who it's for:
Builders shipping fast without writing tests. Engineers who want an in-loop verifier. QA teams automating the checks they've always eyeballed. Founders who want fewer broken things shipped.

Get started:
One line to your agent: npx @reticlehq/core init. Dev-only. Localhost-only. No telemetry, nothing leaves your machine.
Because "the agent said it works" isn't good enough anymore. It needs to prove it.
