Dan Lo Forte

Dan Lo Forte is an experienced software engineer specializing in AI vision robotics systems, with a focus on smart robotic automation. Currently employed at Retiina since January 2019, Dan leads the R&D of near real-time, multi-threaded computer vision and neural network classification software, utilizing C++ and Python on a Linux cluster. Prior experience includes serving as Systems Software Lead at 21st Century Group from May 2015 to December 2018, where similar systems were developed. Dan also worked as Systems Engineer III at L-3 Communication Systems - West from May 2011 to May 2015, contributing to new product design, RF data link systems, and extensive testing and specification development. Dan holds a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
