Raaga Madappa

Raaga Madappa is an AI and Machine Learning Engineer at Retiina since April 2022, specializing in advanced techniques in machine learning. Previously, Raaga served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Rochester Institute of Technology from January 2020 to December 2021, where expertise included performing change detection on the xBD dataset and benchmarking aerial image datasets. Raaga also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, creating assignments in deep learning using frameworks such as Keras, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. Prior to this, Raaga was a Software Engineer at Capgemini from September 2016 to May 2019, focusing on SAP Fiori full-stack development. Raaga began the professional journey as an intern at the Institute For Plasma Research in January 2016, designing a microcontroller circuit. Raaga holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree from PES University.
