Eduardo Uchiyama

Eduardo Uchiyama, MD, FACS, is an experienced vitreoretinal surgeon and uveitis specialist, currently serving as an Affiliate Assistant Professor at Florida Atlantic University since May 2015. With a comprehensive background in ophthalmology, Uchiyama completed a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a fellowship in uveitis and ocular immunology at Harvard Medical School. Previous roles include serving as Chief Retina Fellow at Parkland Memorial Hospital and an internal medicine intern at Parkland Hospital. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Universidad de San Martín de Porres in Peru and extensive training throughout various prestigious institutions in the United States.
