Allyson Miguel is currently engaged in an Integrations Rotation at Whittier Hospital Medical Center, Inc., focusing on the Emergency Department, Definitive Observation Unit, and Intensive Care Units. With extensive experience as a Lead Ophthalmic Technician at Retina-Vitreous Associates Medical Group since June 2018, Allyson has also participated in various nursing rotations, including Critical Care/Intensive Care at Torrance Memorial and Public Health at Project Access. Prior roles include rotations in Pediatrics, Obstetrics/Maternal Newborn, Mental Health/Psychiatry, and Medical Surgical settings. Retina-Vitreous Associates Medical Group

Retina-Vitreous Associates specializes in the treatment of diseases affecting the back of the eye, specifically those of the retina, vitreous, and macula. Patients are typically referred by their general ophthalmologist when a retinal problem is suspected. We care for patients with macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, retinal vein occlusions, uveitis, ocular tumors and pediatric retinal diseases. We have six office locations. Each is equipped with state of the art diagnostic equipment and treatment facilities. Our group is also extremely active in clinical research, community education and participates in a number of various clinical studies evaluating new treatments. We are dedicated to providing the best possible care, and can provide patient access to the most current treatment options.
