Jacob Pichelmann

Jacob Pichelmann's work experience began in 2011 with an internship at Die ZEIT. Jacob then served as a civilian service member at Refugee Support Organisation Verein Ute Bock in 2013. In the same year, they also started working as a tutor in a self-employed capacity. From 2015 to 2018, Jacob was a co-founder and CFO at Findus App OG. Jacob then worked as an intern at OECD - OCDE from March 2019 to July 2019, and later returned as a consultant from September 2019 to February 2020. In 2020, Jacob worked as an intern at Erste Group Bank AG and also as a research assistant at the University of Zurich. Currently, they are employed as a Junior Deep Learning Engineer at RetInSight since February 2022.

Jacob Pichelmann has a diverse education history that spans several institutions and fields of study. Jacob began their education journey at the Technische Universität Wien in 2014, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Technische Physik. After completing this program in 2015, they joined the WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) and obtained another Bachelor of Science degree, this time in Wirtschaftswissenschaften, in 2018.

Continuing their academic pursuits, Jacob enrolled at the Toulouse School of Economics in 2019. Here, they focused on Econometrics and Empirical Economics, earning a Master of Science degree by the time they completed their studies in 2021. During this period, they also obtained additional certifications including a Coursera Course Certificates in Neural Networks and Deep Learning, which they completed in March 2020.

To further enhance their education, Jacob enrolled at the University of Vienna in 2015 to pursue a Magister degree in Law. This program is expected to continue until 2023, indicating their ongoing commitment to expanding their knowledge in the legal field.

In addition to their academic achievements, Jacob has also obtained an IELTS Academic Band Score 8.5 (C2) in February 2019, demonstrating their proficiency in the English language.
